It's a pretty good reference book, but not the best.

As a doctoral student in graduate psychology of learning, I found this to be a fairly useful reference book. It is not meant to be read cover-to-cover, but for reference. Also, you really need to have a fair amount of background knowledge in learning theory to understand a lot of it. It's kind of expensive, though. I think the "Handbook of Educational Psychology" might be better for a reference book.
