AANP

Well I just passed my boards(AANP) today and I owe it to this book. This was 75-80% of my prep. I did 1-2 full exams daily for a week and passed. I did have another book that only had about 400 questions, but after the first test, I would get repeat questions everytime. This was helpful because of the rationales and the questions are true representations of the actual test. I would recommend this book 100%. Good Luck!

A must have!

I found this review book to be extremely helpful. I have never written a review before and said that if I passed the ANCC Adult NP certification I would write one. I had previously bought a review book (the John Hopkins review) and was not impressed. I bought this second one after reading the reviews here. This book was short, precise, up to date, and thorough. The questions in the review book that I was unsure of I looked up in text books and sure enough I got questions on my real test about those topics. I also thought the ethical legal section was very helpful because I was unsure of what to study from my text books. In short would highly recommend!

Good adjunt to classroom text

I purchased this book on the recommendations of the previous reviews and was happy with the style and format of the text. I too passed the AANP certification for ANP exam with the help of this book. While similar to the AANP exam, this actually has information that is more up to date with current treatments than the actual exam. While there are really no good books to study from, I think it is an excellent adjunt to the classroom texts and helps get you into the testing frame of mind especially for the computer exam. The only thing I wished it could do is to section off into the different body systems with a graph or score so that you can look back and see where your strengths & weakness are so that you don't waste time with areas where you don't need as much review.

I just took (and passed!) the adult AANP computer based cert. exam...I used this study guide exclusively to study from and it proved to be an excellent source of test questions very similar in style and content to that of the actual cert. exam. I recommend it highly!
