This is "The Blue Book." The Blue Book is THE seminal text on managing an airport. The text covers history, theory and practice. Larry is a actually a scholar of sociology and Constitutional Law, but he has decades of experience as a pilot in Vietnam, an airport manager, a consultant, and as a professor at Arizona State University. Let me be frank: this book is not the most exciting read in the world. Given the topic how could it be? But if you put forth the effort to read it, it will teach you everything you need to know. Larry is currently working on a Fifth Edition. In the meantime, this current edition is THE book that every airport manager or person who wishes to become an airport manager needs within arm's reach.
Another excellent book by Dr Gesell

How is it possible that Larry has written so many great books and no one is buying them? I've spoken with my friends in Hollywood about writing a screenplay and either turning this into a musical or better yet, a Epic movie. Tom Cruise isn't all that busy now days. Dale White is turning in his grave because he didn't get to work on the movie rights. Be sure to have plenty of hankies around when you read this book because it's a tear-jerker. I can't compare this to Gone With Da Wind or even The Sterile Cuckoo but I've got to say, it's got something that makes a person want to dance & sing. My friends in Fargo won't leave me alone about this book -- I get so many requests to read it to them before going to sleep at night. One or two sentences and everyone's out like a lite. Thanks again, Dr Gesell. All I can say is aka-baka-ruda!
