Acute myeloblastic leukemias (AML) constitute between 15% and 20% of leukemias in pediatric patients. In order to describe patients diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in the remission induction stage, a descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out in patients diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the University Pediatric Hospital "Jos Luis Miranda" of Santa Clara.
