Actinomycetes producing cellulase enzymes

Twenty eight actinomycetes strains were isolated from cotton plant rhizosphere soil of North Indian region of India. The isolates were identified as actinomycetes by morphological studies. Among them 11 strain are selected on basis of cellulolytic activities by primary screening.
