Again in another book proving the existence of extraterrestrial life having a hand in ancient civilizations, he carefully maps out multiple key points, patterns, and elements. All leading up to the not so shocking discovery of our ancient ancestors from the stars! Terrific book on behalf of the author!

I first read this book when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I didn't understand a lot of what was written back then but it did open my mind to many possibilities. While still an adolescent, I joined the local UFO group and even went to see Daniken in person when he visited Tauranaga (New Zealand) in the 70's. In many ways Daniken's books have had a large impact on my life even though I haven't subscribed to his theories for a long time. By presenting his views, and his "evidence", Daniken invites us to question the dogma of the day. And I believe that it is very important to question dogma. "Why do we believe something ?" and more importantly "Why does someone else want me to believe it ?". This book also sparked my enthusiasm for travel and I have visited many of the places mentioned in Danikens books; Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, Nazca lines, Easter Island etc. Whether or not these places were built by Aliens, they are still amazing. Thanks Erich.

This book is another book in Erich von Däniken's brilliant series of documentaries. Based on ancient myths, religions, interviews and experience assembled on his countless travels, he presents and proves his theory that extraterrestrial visitors in our ancient history was misunderstood and worshipped as gods. This theory was heavily proven by Däniken long, before this book came out, but again Däniken has dug up some very interesting facts just strengthening his case.If you dont agree after reading this book, it is because you dont WANT it to be true.I recomend this book among with all the other von Däniken books to all people interested in history, religion, mysteries, or life itself.
