Book Overview

Love gets a bit devilish in this contemporary romance from the national bestselling author of The Accidental Werewolf . When mild-mannered Casey Schwartz wakes up in jail, she has no memory of how she got there. But after her sister, Wanda, bails her out, Casey has more to deal with than a foggy memory--like abrupt mood swings and fireballs shooting from her fingertips. But things really head south when a vampire shows up on her doorstep... Vampire...

Great series

Great series to read. While the books tend to follow the same story line each one is a little unique and an entertaining read.

Dakota delivers!

Buy this book. Seriously, why are you wasting time reading this? I have not found a single book by Ms. Cassidy to dissapoint; her style is witty, energetic, and has more laugh out loud moments than an AOL chat room. One of my favorite writers by far, this book lives up to her standards. Marty, Nina, and Wanda return to help Wanda's sister Casey with a small problem: she seems to have turned into a demon, and accidentally throwing fireballs at the slightest provocation is not helping with her job. And the horns... well, let's not mention those. Point is, our leading lady Casey has problems. Toss in a sexy (yet forbidden) vampire named Clayton and some heavy duty baggage from his past, and you get yourself a real mess. Oh, and a really angry demon with a grudge. Can Casey find her HEA in this circumstances?

Accidentally Demonic

Casey Schwartz took a job that seemed like a good idea at the time, but keeping up with two spoiled and pampered twenty-somethings has taken over her life. She was trying to get them out of trouble the night she was arrested - supposedly for assaulting a police officer. The problem is Casey doesn't remember the night and she`s about the mellowest person anyone knows. Unsure what to do, Casey calls her sister for bail and that call is just the first of many wake up calls for Casey. Clayton Gunnersson is an old vampire who had personal reasons for being in the bar that night. However, instead of getting out as easily as he got in, Clayton ended up causing an accident that affected both him and Casey. But first he has to find out who the woman in the bar was and then hope she will believe his wild tale. His first meeting with Casey didn't exactly go as he hoped, but Clayton is willing to accept responsibility for his actions. Casey has gone from mellow to having a horrible temper and producing fireballs. Her sexual libido has gone through the roof too, at least it has when Clayton is anywhere nearby. Clayton and Casey have little time to figure out how the demon blood may have changed Casey. There is also the huge matter of sexual need that has quickly gone much farther than attraction and they haven't even kissed yet. Clayton is trying to help out while keeping secrets, but in a close group of women there is no such thing as secrets. The truth comes out, as it always will, and soon both Clayton and Casey will have to make decisions that will affect their lives forever. Even with the help of family and friends, can Clayton and Casey find a way to defeat a determined demon? What's a girl to do when she learns about the paranormal world and sexy vampires? Casey takes a crash course in Accidentally Demonic. Trying to finally be self-sufficient and not let on how badly her life has turned, Casey has limited her contact with friends and family. That is until she finds out she needs them more than ever. Clayton is well respected by his vampire clan, but certain things have gone on too long. I couldn't stop laughing as I watched Casey and Clayton interact from their first meeting until the last page. The constant and sarcastic humor twined throughout their story just helped prove there's always a silver lining now matter how dark the problem. I enjoyed more than just Casey and Clayton's interactions but that of the entire group. Casey and Clayton's road was more than bumpy; it was also fun and loved-filled. Accidentally Demonic is just the ticket after a tough day for some good demonic fun. I don't know if this is the final Accidental book, but as I was reading along it hit me just how far the series has come since we were all worried about our color wheels. Dakota Cassidy has taken paranormal humor and twisted it with superb results. Jo Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

entertaining

I so totally thought Dakota wouldn't be able to make another great book in this series since it wasn't about her fantastic, and hilarious three best friends, but I was so wrong. Each time I read a new book in this series it's better then the last. I can hardly wait until the next book in this entertaining series.

Accidental series, Book Four. I liked it better than the previous ones.

Casey Schwartz's job is to escort two trouble-attracting twins everywhere they go, day and night. If she cannot keep the twins from getting into trouble, it is up to Casey to do some damage control. So when the twins get too wild at a bar and a photographer is trying to snap some scandalous pictures, Casey steps in his way. The next thing Casey knows is waking up in jail for assaulting an off-duty cop. Her sister, Wanda Jefferson, comes with two friends to bail Casey out and try to piece together what happened. But mild mannered Casey seems to have had an attitude adjustment, so when one of Wanda's two friends makes her angry Casey sets the woman's hair on fire! Answers to the group's numerous questions begin when Clayton "Clay" Gunnersson walks in the door claiming he is responsible for everything. Clay had been so close to finally getting rid of Hildegard, the demon who has been the bane of his existence for far too much of his vampire life. Unfortunately, the demon blood Clay had on his person is accidentally spilled on a mortal woman, causing her to become uncontrollably enraged. Like it or not, and she does not, Casey has become half demon and there is no going back. Casey is shooting fireballs from her fingertips, levitating, and sprouting horns. If that is not enough to wrap her mind around, Casey learns that her own sister, Wanda, and the two friends with her are also paranormal. Casey must learn to control her sudden tempers and how to use her powers without harming anyone. But can the still-human half of her control the half that is malicious demon? ***** FIVE STARS! Dakota Cassidy seems to get better and better with every book she writes. In my opinion, this story is the best thus far. Seeing the three main female leads from the three previous titles of the series made everything more fun and realistic. Readers will thoroughly enjoy this romp with the paranormal. Fun, humorous, and booty-licious! ***** Reviewed by Detra Fitch of Huntress Reviews.
