Erotic sentences from all kinds of books. From which book the quotation is taken? The answer at the end of the book. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I was wandering through the literature section at a Border's books and happened to see this title. The book presents almost 90 erotic passages from various works of literature. I don't know enough about the subject of erotic literature to know if these really are the choicest and most erotic lines, but I can tell you there are some pretty hotly graphic lines here, as well as ones that just sort of smolder gently. So they range from the barely erotic and fairly discrete to the starkly raunchy as in the de Sade entry on page 67, if I remember right. (But then what was I expecting from the infamous and deranged libertarian, who spent the last 10 years of his life in an insane asylum? :-)) The authors range from the classical to the modern, and include Asian and Oriental as well as European and American and other countries, so the selection seems pretty diverse. Many of the authors I didn't know, as they're not famous, or at least well known to those outside of certain fields of literature. At the very end of the book, the sources are listed, including the title and the author's full name. On the quote page, all that's mentioned is the author. The print is large and easy to read, so if you find anything truly eye opening here, it won't be for lack of readability. :-) The only reason for the four stars is that the book is only about 100 pages and yet costs $5, but then I'm still not used to modern book prices even for paperbacks. However, the graphic design of the book is more than one gets in a typical paperback, too, so there's some added value there.
