A Who's Who of fairyland, with entries by fairy name and additional legends, songs, and anecdotes within each entry. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is an illustrated encyclopedia of Fairies from European and Celtic culture. I picked up a copy at the library and found it quite entertaining. I though the text interesting and the pictures and illustrations are well done. While this book isn't particularly large (only 155 pages), its reasonably comprehensive, and accessible to adults and children alike. In particular, I liked the illustration of the Blue Men and the Doonie. This is a fun addition to any Celtic folklorist's library.
This was a great book!
