Great pictures, engaging poetry

Ms. Munsinger's pictures make this book come alive. Her clever portrayals of animals doing extraordinary feats or ordinary human activities are amusing to all ages. The poems range from the complex to the very simple, so it is a book that can appeal to different age groups or can be returned to again and again. My favorite is the tiger in his striped "jym-jam pajamas."
