My knitting BFF

A-Z is the knitter's best friend. Pictures and text give needed help in a clear and concise way. I'm not an expert knitter - I just know enough to be dangerous! This book has helped me so much when I got in a little over my head.
GREAT BOOK

This is an excellent book to add to your knitting library! Not only does it cover the basics (with photos rather than sketches), but it covers higher end techniques that my other basic knitting resource books do not cover. The team that wrote this book did a great job. Well done!
GREAT BOOK FOR OLD OR NEW KNITTERS
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
I needed a book on knitting to refresh my memory and someone recommended this one to me. Not only is this book easy to read, but the book provides great pictures. The pictures are really important to me because I am a visual learner. If you are new to knitting you will find this book very helpful as you build your skills.
Knitting help

This is the best knitting help book I have found yet. I began knitting as a little girl but set my needles aside for awhile. Now with four young grandchildren the needles are very busy once again, but there are some things I have forgotten or techniques that I felt I needed to improve. This book was the answer for both. In fact, I have recommended it to others and have purchased additional copies for gifts.
Knitting encylopedia

This book came highly recommended from a yarn store owner. I am a beginner but want to make some specific items. This is not a book of patterns, but of stitches. So it is a good reference book for any pattern.
