"A Woman of Contentment"

My ladies Bible study group has done quite a few Bible studies by Dee Brestin. They are all "in depth" in that they are not only covering the book(s) indicated on the cover, but Dee refers you back to other relevant scriptures for a better understanding of how the Old Testament relates to the New Testament. We love the questions at the end of each chapter to help guide you through the study. We just finished this one on Ecclesiastes, and many said this was their favorite out all her studies thus far.

Review of A Woman of Contentment

This is one of a series of bible studies written by this author. I am in a class using this as a guide. Ecclesiastes is one of the books of the Bible that may be hard to understand without help; Dee Brestin gives this help and also refers to various references, especially in the New Testament, that help make the purpose of Solomon's treatise clear, in fact, almost a prophecy. I am looking forward to using some of the other books in her series.
