A Tribute to Billie Gramz

How often have we daydreamed of having a more substantial life? Dreaming of things such as our football careers not ending after just playing two years in college. Instead, envisioning, playing all four collegiate years, and subsequently being drafted into the NFL. After retiring from a stellar NFL career being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. The high school we attended names their football stadium after us as a sign of pride and respect. We go on to have a long, long, broadcasting career as a sports analyst on ESPN.

Or the local cover band that we have been playing bass guitar for gets discovered after 10 years of performing. Signs a lucrative recording contract with a major record label, has hundreds of hit music singles, tops the music charts for months at a time, and goes on a sold-out world tour. Later, after a band break up, reunites for a final sold out performance just before being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

My endeavor with this writing is to envision a life like that for Billie Gramz.
