This small book, easily read in an afternoon, will fill your heart with inspiration, wonder and joy at the way God works in our lives - yes, still today. The stories are real and powerfully written and all are tied into the miracle of the Christmas season. These are stories you won't forget...and they will increase your faith!

Why is this book perfectly suited for Christmas?

Because Christmas is a time for miracles. And this book is filled with real life miracles. God is alive and well and making his presence known through angels (heavenly and eartly) and unexplicable happenings. These stories are so inspiring because they show how people's lives are blessed through heavenly power and intervention. Thiw book helps renew your faith in God and miracles. It is truly the perfect book for the holidays! I also enjoyed: Story of the Other Wise Man--a wonderful Christmas parable. Christmas Gifts, Christmas Voices--a heartwarming, inspiring story.

Encouraging Read for anyone involved in the Adoption Process

This book truly provides encouragement to those who find their lives touched by adoption or who are deciding whether to take that step in their lives. The only flaw, from my perspective, would be that the stories heavily focused on adoptions through a lawyer and not through an agency. That said, I appreciated that the stories were varied in their perspective - some were from the adoptive family, the birth family, the social worker, adoptee. In addition, there were a variety of different reasons and situations for seeking adoption. Finally the stories involved adoptions that were domestic and international, as well as of varying ages. The biggest blessing was, however, the encouragement it gave. There are not many people who can truly understand the feelings adoption brings out except for those who have experienced it. That being said, those who have experienced it are able to encourage others in their waiting on God like no one else can. If you need encouragement in the waiting, help in discerning whether adoption is for you, or just want to understand the emotions of this amazing process, this book is for you.

Christmas is a time for miracles, a time for peace, yet it is often and usually the most hectic, stressful time of year where very little of the joy that is intended in it is felt. Thank God for people like Ms. Kingsbury, who, with a few simple words can remind us of the true meaning and message of the season. In this small but powerful collection of unbelieveable, but true stories, she shines a light into the reader's heart, showing the reality of God's love, often expressed through the hand of others.
