I still have a copy of this book from when my sister and I were little which I found while searching through our attic. The front and back covers have long since been torn off. I am seriously considering getting a new one to start reading to my soon to be 5 yr. old nephew. This book like its title states is a treasury and should be passed down through the generations.
Greatest stories ever

I bought this book for my girls when they were just a few years old and the other night my 13 year old came and asked me to read from it again. This book will never be too old to read from and your kids will never grow tired of hearing them. I am sure I will be a grandma reading to my grandchildren from this very same book. I loved it, they loved it and you will too!
A Real Keepsake

This book is great. I received it soon after it was originally published and it quickly became a family favorite. The large variety of simple stories and elaborate illustrations kept me fascinated for years. I loved every story and the biggest challenge growing up was agreeing with my sister about which ones we wanted to read. I still have the original and she has since bought her own for her children so the legacy will continue.
A Treasury of Bedtime Stories--A book to treasure forever

A Treasury of Bedtime StoriesThis book means so much to me. Born in 1983, I have grown up with it. My mother used to read stories out of it every night. I love the selection, and the illustrations are so elaborate! In fact, my favorite story,"Pix Pax Pox", has had such a great "force" on my life, that I have named my screen name after it. "PixPaxPox@email.msn.com". I know that your children will love it too. Please buy this book so another generation of young readers can carry it on to their children. Finally, in closing, I'd like to say that reading this book as a child has made me creative, and with an appreciation for literature. I moved on from this book to harder books, and am now reading Shakespeare and Plato. (I'm only 14!.) I have been accepted into the Gifted Education system, and so far have a 4.0 GPA.I accredit all this to my humble beginings in "A Treasury of Bedtime Stories." I hope to hear your great reviews soon, too. Cordially, Jared
