This arrangement is useful to the traveler, as once the vegetation zone is identified, the important plants of that zone can be easily determined. More than 300 plants, including trees, shrubs, wildflowers, cacti, and more, are described in non-technical language (and illustrated in full-color), with information on their habitat and cultural uses provided.
