Darling book to introduce the idea of weaning

The pictures and rhyme in this book are lovely and inviting, and it gently introduces the idea that animals and children grow up and no longer need to nurse. This is a useful book for toddlers early in the weaning process, to help instill the idea that nursing will end, and they will move on to other things as they grow. My fully weaned two-year-old still likes to read it, and points out all the small nursing animals and babies.
