She maintains a blog about art and contemplative creativity. She lives in Kentucky and she stayed in Trappist monasteries to complete this book. When she isn't with her family, her pets, or in a monastery, she can be found in the classroom at Northern Kentucky University, near Cincinatti, where she is an Assistant Professor of English.
