This fully illustrated and comprehensive text/reference presents detailed and systematic coverage of the entire scope of orthopaedic medicine. For each region of the musculoskeletal system, the authors describe the applied anatomy, providing an understanding of what is central to accurate diagnosis, and a systemic approach to assessment with precise guidance on how to make a differential diagnosis.
Hello This book is one of the best books I have ever read in orthopaedic medicine. It works very well for both MD's and PT's. It has a very organized chapters that takes you through history, clinical examination and their interpretation smoothly. It helps very well to define the anatomical structure that is at fault and gives you the best way to treat it. Note that this book is entirely based on Cyriax concept. However it's updated very well. Also you should know that the biomechanical assessment is out of scope of this book. It is purely pathoanatomical reference. If you are a physical therapist and you need to understand things better, this is the book you need to get.
