This is one of the excellent book must be read by every enterprise application developer. Eventhough the title is "A Student Guide to Object-Oriented Development", actually it is more than a student guide. Highly recommended. --Rama-- Systems Architect.
Very useful beginner's book

If you are new to object oriented design and development (OOD & D), and are looking for a book that will introduce you to the various aspects of object oriented development as well as some of the techniques commonly used, in the context of small development projects, look no further. You will not be disappointed with this book. The exercises at the end of each chapter are a little verbose and the answers sometimes incomplete, but that's something that can be said about most student text books. Totally worth the list price. This may not be a good book for people already seasoned in OOD & D.
