Beautiful pictures, great history, holds kids' interest

A beautiful contrast of colors, along with teaching of types, uses, and a history of beading made this enjoyable reading for both parents and kids.

Easy to follow and vivid illustrations keep attentention

We discovered this book at the library and had to buy it. My four year-old loved to count the beads on each page and search for all the different ones. She dosen't know the book is crammed full of history and reference. We both really have enjoyed this book.
