Captivating story of a man's hunger for God's glory.

This book is so insightful, and even quite entertaining. It amazes me how God can take ignorant folk who simply have a heart for God, and use them as mighty weapons against the powers of darkness. Pastor Pugh is completely transparent and brutally honest and open as he shares with us us his life's adventures in ministry, as a newly saved child of God, to a pastor and travelling conference speaker. The book majors in the area of deliverance ministry, and Pastor Pugh does not speak as one who is an expert in this field, but as one who has had much experience. It is very obvious, as this Godly man shares his heart, that this kind of ministry is for the very seriously dedicated christian who really has forsaken all that this world has to offer. It was very touching to read of his humility in the early chapters of the book, how he allowed God to drive all of the self out of him. I'm not really sure what to think of all the different types of demons he describes, and how they manifest, but one thing that is very plain, he is completely sincere. I'm certain that anyone who is called into this tricky, and much neglected ministry, will be very much blessed and inspired by this book.

Great for intercessory prayer

This book was really a great start in learning about self deliverance. Pastor Pugh tells things that most men of God wouldn't tell in this book. He talks a great deal about those things that are happening on the inside of men and women of God. I would recommend this book to any intercessory team as well, because it helps you to know what to look for when praying. WOW!!!! what a great book. It was very hard to put down.

I thought this book was very informative and insightful in dealing with the spirit of Jezebel. As a prayer leader, this book gave me insight on how Pastor Pugh and his church dealt with this spirit and overcame it. I really enjoyed reading about Pastor Pugh's experiences in deliverance ministry. It was funny, insightful, and eye-opening. I now understand that the Jezebel Spirit is alive and active in trying to shut down ministries. Pastor Pugh, thank you for sharing your experiences and your life with readers, it was truly life-changing for me and will help me in my prayer ministry.

Awesome Book!

A Step into Deliverance was not at all what I expected it to be. I expected a how-to instruction book on deliverance. Instead I was immersed in an incredible journey into the life of one man is so willing to be humble, broken and poured out for the Lord, a transparency that is humbling in itself. It is apparent throughout his book that Pastor Pugh is a spirit-led man and seeks to live a life that glorifies God. With regard to deliverance, the book provided much of the information I sought. It was clear, concise and informative, but more than that, it is a journey for the reader. Because Pastor Pugh is so candid in sharing his life experiences, we not only see glimpses of ourselves in weakness, we see the life-transforming power of our Lord, Jesus Christ. While some are called to the deliverance ministry itself, deliverance is for all of us and it is a life-long journey. . . "from faith to faith and glory to glory." It is heartwarming, funny and challenging. I couldn't put it down-in fact, I read it twice! The body of Christ today needs to hear Pastor Pugh's message if we are to be victorious in these last days. His message conveys the unconditional love and amazing grace of Jesus Christ and how he can transform our lives so that we can love others as He commanded us to. Get the book, and let it wrap around your heart and soul and change your life!

A STEP INTO DELIVERANCE

A Step into Deliverance is a Great Book! To walk through portions of Pastor Toni Pugh's life allows me to see areas in my own life(It's like looking into a Mirror), and see where I need to allow God to work on me. To look at principles that are described in the book, such as the race, I now know never to give up, no matter how things look, but you're always a winner when you finish what ever you start.(Being a single mother this encouragement is needed for all of us who struggle).The part where Pastor Pugh breaks down the traits of different groups of spirits. You know when things don't feel right or even wonder why did I just do that. When we as Christians can identify the enemy's plan againts us, we have a greater chance on obtaining deliverance. In A Step Into Deliverance the enemy is exposed! I could indentify the traits of Jezebel with in myself. Where she was using me to control others and what doors that I left open for her to use me.Repentence is a powerful weapon against her.Once I recieved my Deliverance, my life has had nothing but increase,from my household,my finances,and especially my ministry.God can only take us where we allow him to,and if your like me, A Step into Deliverance will answer so many of your questions in life, and give you a step into the right direction.I highly recommend this book.Once you pick it up you will not want to put it down.
