Debra Webb

Have read every book written by Debra Webb. The Soldier's Oath is one I missed in the The Equalizer's series of the Colby Agency. All of her books are well thought out, executed in a sustainable fashion that leads the reader from one page to the next in a breathless pace. Great story line!

Another fantastic story from Debra Webb...

No one else is willing to help Willow Harris. Her two year old son remains in Kuwait with his father and her ex-husband. An American court has granted her custody but Kuwait has refused to abide by the court order. Willow needs help and has gone through numerous private investigation agencies to no avail until she locates Jim Colby's new agency, The Equalizers, and Spencer Anders. Will Spencer be able to rescue her son and keep Willow safe once in Kuwait? What a thrilling story of international suspense! Debra Webb always writes a fantastic story and her Colby Agency books are some of the best out there. A SOLDIER'S OATH isn't directly a part of that series but instead focuses on Jim Colby's new agency, The Equalizers. The Equalizers are willing to do whatever it takes to get a job done, even when the law is not entirely on their side. This is actually the perfect setting for Jim, based upon his past history, and Spencer's assignment is an excellent start to the series. Debra Webb is willing to take risks with her characters, including creating heroes and heroines who are less than perfect. Willow and Spencer are good examples of her skill in bringing out the best in her characters. Spencer has given up on life until Jim recruits him, but once he sets eyes on Willow, he is determined to keep her safe at all costs... and to unite her with her son. Willow is afraid to trust in anyone but Spencer shows her time and again that he is a man worth trusting. What a satisfying romantic suspense! COURTESY OF CK2S KWIPS AND KRITIQUES
