Hicks has a gift of understanding the interaction between God and man in ways that few have. He frames this in poignant and practical ways that bless and benefit the lives of those who will hear.

Small Book - Large Content about a Big GOD!

This is such an incredible little book! I read this several years ago and after going through some really tough times have found myself craving to read this book again. I can't find my copy (probably loaned out) so I'm buying a new one. If you need hope, if you need to know that others understand, if you need a clarifying of the issues at hand - read this book.

My Opinion

Only book written by Roy Hicks Jr. Well worth purchasing. This mans' ministry impacted many people, you get a taste of his insight and wisdom from this 'small book'. Miss him and wish there were more books!

He gives me hope.

There are few biblical teachers that I've known who truly exemplify what being a Christian is both in life and in words. Roy Hicks, Jr. was such a teacher. His faith always pointed the way to Jesus and that way was simple and natural. I am grateful for his life and this book.

In Roy Hick's book "A Small Book About God" he brings new hope to the hopeless. He calls us to dream again and to hope in what God has destined us to be. For those of us who have stumbled along the way and toppled over because life's load proved to be too heavy this book brings fresh oxygen to our spiritual lungs. I'm on my second read of this book.
