Terri Dieter Hits the Mark

Terri Dieter really gets to the heart of the matter here. She captures all those "right where we live" moments just perfectly. All those sort of "off the cuff" moments when we say the wrong thing, make the wrong choice or just act plain dumb!! And then she shows from her own life how these little stumbling blocks can derail us from our destination or curtail our intimacy with the Lord. Highly recommended!

Timeless

No matter how old or young, no matter how long you have known Jesus or to what depth this book will speak to depths you didn't realize you had. It's a book that will bring not only confirmation but correction as well. Many believers today wish to come to know God in a much more fulfilling way and what Terri has done is she has taken some of the greatest disruptors of advancement and brought clarity to what causes us to stumble. If nothing else this book brings understanding to where you have walked and why God has allowed certain things to be brought in front of you. The beauty is that not only is this covered but also the ways to come out on the other side with much better results than before. I call this book timeless because you will get something new every time you read it.

Life Changing Words

This book fell into my lap at a time when I needed to hear it most. I had been spiritually detached and trying to "think" through a situation that was much bigger than me and my human capabilities. Terri's words are so powerful and perfectly placed -- it's as if God knew that He needed to speak to me in English because I wasn't hearing Him in prayer. For me, it taught me the joy of walking with the Lord in a way I had never before experience. I found a blessing in a storm. Every Christian should be so blessed as to read this book.

She gives incredible insight as to how to live a Christian life. She gives wonderful analagies to apply them to everyday life. Though intended for those in a church leadership position, this book is for everyone! I am praying she publishes a Bible Study to go with it.

A great tool to learn how to apply God's word

A Servant of the Lord walks the reader through how to address the daily stumbling blocks that come up that try to turn us away from God. The practical events of the author's life and how she applied God's word and promises to those events helps to drive home each point. Even though the material can be somewhat intense in areas and could be directed to pastor's and other leadership of the church, it could be used for any church or home Bible study. Highly recommend investing some time in reading this powerful book.
