overall good

books came in less then 4 days n both books were in good condition but one book had highlight marks well the othere did not. got the books at a cheap prize

Exceptional discipline and skills

I used this text as a college student, and I still refer to it. I dig it out and do a little refreshing now and then. The clarity of the descriptions, the helpfulness of the excercises, and the inside view of argument are all very good reasons to purchase this book and hold on to it. The only quibble I have is the student emphasis. Now that I'm no longer a student I find myself wishing that the excercises didn't include collegisms. No matter. This is still an excellent introductory text.
