Great Idea!

I have to be honest, I am not really someone who enjoys sci fi and sadly (for me) this is a pretty sci fi heavy book. I found myself frequently overwhelmed by the sci fi ness of the book, the world building was a struggle for me to grasp. That being said, despite not being a sci fi fan, I thought this book was wonderful and I really got the metaphor regarding diaspora the author was going for and I loved the intergalactic MasterChef idea. I understand this to be a series so I think I’ll check the future books, but maybe I’ll write myself a gallery of terminology first 😅 Thanks to NetGalley, Rebellion, and Solaris for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
