great book for quiet moments

I enjoy the book very much. Joni shared her insights from her experience over the years. She illustrated her point clearly with events in her life. She is genuine and to the point. It's a good book for comtemplation.

Clear content applicable to life

What I found so wonderful about Joni Erikson Tada's writing was that one felt as though she was speaking to you directly. Her writing is very descriptive and I found that if I would follow her direction fully in her application, I truly got the most from the writing. Her writing is an vessel through which the Holy Spirit was applied. The message that we must find times and places to learn to be quiet and learn to listen and hear of our Lord's love and will for our lives is truly clear and easily applied to life through her words. Her life is an inspiration and her writing a guide to the solitude of which she speaks.

Excellent book written by a wonderful author

I usually don't write reviews but this book is simple, elegantly written and to the point. Joni's stories hit home because she has been through a "crazy world" yet has found her quiet place time and time again. Easily applicable truths and plenty of encouragement.
