My son loves this book!

He asks me to read it to him every night!It has 2 stories connecting in the middle: a boy looking for a puppy and the puppy looking for a boy. Great book!

Great book for a new dog owner!

Ed Young's wonderful illustrations perfectly complement Dorothea Seeber's two-part story of a boy and a new pup finding each other. I enjoyed the book as a tale for the individual new puppy owner. However, it would make a great read-aloud for a group of children K-2. The illustrations are bright and clear. The story is one where children can anticipate the turn of events. When you turn the book over and start reading again, what fun! I highly recommend this book.
