Lastly, A Promise Kept, is a beautiful love story between two people who were meant to be together forever. This story is will surely keep you interested and make you cry.

Life, Death, Love, Courage

This is an heroic story. PROMISE FULFILLED gives us important information about breast cancer and patient/doctor relationships, but it is much more. It is a love story, a medical mystery, courtroom drama, a family and community saga. Bill and Maureen Thiel could be people in our church, in our neighborhood, and yet we meet them as heroic figures when they have little or no control over their lives. Maureen Buchanan Jones takes the facts of this family's life and tells a classic tale with heroes and villains, courage and deceit, love and honor.

A Touching Tribute and Warning!

I was very interested to find out what this woman's experience had been but did not expect to get as emotionally involved knowing the basic plot to begin with. But the author did such a good job of revealing how very special this woman was to everyone and my empathy for her situation grew tremendously. It was gut wrenching to hear about all she went through physically and emotionally as well as her family. It was such a tribute to her that her husband not only honored his promise but did it with such loving respect. This book not only made me keenly aware of the need for early detection but made me feel very feel grateful to be healthy.
