If you lend it out, you won't get it back! Love it!

This is a great cook book and I consider it in my top 3 of my collection of many! I've taken this cook book camping with us and found delicious "no hassle" recipes to put in the crock pot and forget until it's time to eat! My all time favorite recipe out of this book has to be "Raspberry Dessert Strata," not to give away the recipe, but it's like bread pudding with melted chocolate chunks, pockets of vanilla pudding, and raspberries. There are lots of easy recipes in this book, like Sloppy Joes and Southwest Chicken Stew. I bought this book 3 years ago and lent it to a good friend but it's been passed around my entire church and is sitting in someone's cupboard much against my efforts to track it down. I liked it so much I bought a replacement copy. I've learned to lend out cook books I don't use much, but never again will I let go of my "Potful of Recipes" cookbook. I highly recommend this cook book and have enjoyed many great recipes from it!

Exactly what I wanted!

This cookbook is exactly what I wanted! All of the recipes are easy to make with little-to-no preparation (other than waiting for it to be done). I can find ALL of the ingredients in the local grocery store AND... I don't have to use the oven! I have just about all of Joanna's cookbooks, and this is by far my favorite! I also like the spiral binding so that the cookbook lays flat.

Very inspiring and easy, wholesome food

This cookbook is truly a necessity for my kitchen!! As a busy mom who is always carting her kids from Tae Kwon Do to other after school activites, it's hard to be home in time to prepare a meal (not to mention the fact that I'm usually too tired come that witching hour). I love how I can prepare the meals around lunchtime when I'm at my peak and can then have the aroma fill the house in just a few hours. The ingredients are simple and economical and everyone in my house will eat them!! That's a miracle in itself!! Buy this book...you will be happy you did. I can't wait to try the "pot full of oatmeal". What an idea...make breakfast before you go to bed!!

A GREAT BOOK!

I am a mother of 5, 3 of which are toddlers. Let me just say that I really needed a cookbook to fix quick, healthy and tasty meals. This is the book. I love the convenience of throwing everything in the pot early in the morning, but didn't have good recipes. Well, not anymore! If you love your crockpot but need the recipes, you have found your Pot-of-Gold! Here are some names of some delicious recipes I have tried, Spicy Apricot Glazed Chicken (yummy), Super Swiss Steak (super!), Raspberry Dessert Strata (delicious)! Trust me, you cannot go wrong with this book. If you want great recipes for your crock pot, then buy this book!

Wonderful Cookbook!

This was such a blessing to me to find a lowfat slow cooker cookbook that everything just tastes so wonderful! There are so many recipes and the binding is spiral so it lays flat! For a busy woman on a budget that wants healthy meals to feed her family, this is PERFECT! It even has desserts! Buy it!
