A Political Passage The Career of Stratton of Illinois

This book is an excellent account of William G. Stratton's background and career. Chapter one is an accurate description of the Stratton family and Lake county, Illinois during the the first few decades of the 1900's. As a Stratton relative, I can say that I am thrilled with this chapter because it is just as my late father, a first cousin of William G., described it many times. Mr. Kenney did a fine job as author of this well-done book. Evidently Mr. Kenny knows historic Illinois politics inside and out!
