A pear by itself is not a pair. It takes two to make a pair. It doesn't matter what you choose. It's a pair if it comes in twos. Some things always come in twos. You'd look pretty funny with just one shoe! -- And so it goes in this little book that starts out with a word play on the word pair. Your pre-schooler will learn what makes a pair and what comes in pairs in this Rookie Reader book that rhymes and the new words he or she learns will be driven home with Ms. Baker's very own illustrations. I like all the Rookie Reader books. They are just a great way to get a little pre-schooler started on his or her reading career. And an early start is so important in today's world. Children need every advantage they can get, so if you're a parent or guardian of a precious little one, I highly recommend Rookie Reader books.
