Some "jobs" are more interesting than others, and from time to time we enjoy hearing about someone else's work. As the title suggests, in A Pastor and the People readers are given An Inside Look through Letters on what it's like to be a pastor. During his 44 years of ministry in four churches Pastor Bob Mink saved many of the letters he received and wrote. In A Pastor and the People he shares some of those letters in the three parts of the book: Youth Ministry, Minister of a Small Church, and Pastor of a Large Church. There are quite a few letters that are complimentary and affirming, but as you might imagine, not all the letters received were in that category. He also includes a variety of hurtful ones in a chapter entitled "Troublesome Letters." Readers will also read a number of letters he wrote to individuals as well as public letters he wrote to his church.
