A Nurse's War

This is a remarkable book about a young British army nurse in World War II. Her writing is very descriptive of the times and more importantly her emotions at the time. She also contrasts her nursing training which at the time was quite rigorous with more modern day attitudes (the 70's) This is not a "fluff" book. She was a witness to the horrors of war. Her experiences come alive with her writing.
