One of the Best Authors Out there

This book examines the downfalls and advantages to dating out of your class. Although Max means well, I think it is wrong of him to try to change Carol-Anne. I felt he tried his best to mold her since he couldn't mold Samone, the assertive diva, his ex-girlfriend. I was satsified with this book, I also enjoyed Warm Hands. Warm Hands is a great book on self love and healing.This author has great prose, and a true to life plot.

REAL LIFE ACCOUNT OF A SINGLE MOTHER

I could not put this book down. I could totally relate to Carol-Anne and her struggle as a single mother. I respected the fact that she was not ready to jump at the first man that came her way as her way out. And someone to take care of her and her daughter. She showed a lot of pride. And Max he was a single mom's dream come true. He was as interested in her daughter's happiness as he was Carol-Anne. This is a feel good book. This book proves there is always hope for A NEW DAY. A MUST READ I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.

Life Is What You Make It!!

This book here showed you exactly what the phrase "You must first love yourself before you can love someone else or accept anyone elses love" means. Carol-Anne had to love herself and prove to herself that she was worthy of such great love in order to accept all the love that was being given to her by Max. I'm glad that she was able to work things out within herself in time enough to still be blessed with Max. This is a good read that I'm sure you all will enjoy.

"A New Day" is exactly what the title says it is. Max and Carol-Anne are two people from two different worlds who learn to live and love in both and eventually end up in one.If you've never read a more compelling love story, this is one.Written with true scenes from reality and earthyness. Margaret Johson-Hodge holds nothing back in this book. No one said love was easy but if you truly believe that love knows not boundaries, this is a book you must read and reread.

It was FANTASTIC!!!

I picked up this book one day while shopping in Wal-Mart. Never did I imagine this book would be so good. "A New Day" was simply superb. The writing style is very refreshing and somewhat laid back. The main character Carol-Anne is a single mom trying to raise her daughter. She has made some bad choices in her life and is trying to learn how to deal with those choices. Carol-Anne is a wonderful character. You actually feel for her and root for good things to happen to her. The man she meets, Max, is someone I wish I'd had run into. He's a dream, he isn't perfect, but he is honest, generous, caring, supportive and wants to better Carol-Anne's life. I just loved the story and how it ended and everything about was soo good. Margaret Johnson-Hodge, you did a great job and I look forward to reading your other book.
