Compelling and honest

Dawn's book is a compelling and honest look into the process of psychotherapy. As a survivor of therapy abuse and of childhood sexual abuse, I felt a connection with Dawn from the beginning. This is a must read for anyone interested in healing the child within. Thank You Dawn, you have truly given me a wonderful gift.

Dawn Kohler takes us on riveting, emotional journey. She tells her story--a story of love, abuse, and spiritual transformation--with a great deal of integrity and honesty. Her writing appears to be transparent, as if there is no book between me and the intimate telling of her story. I felt I was right there with her. Despite the horror Dawn Kohler experienced as a child, there is a noticeable lack of a victim script in her story. She is a modern day heroine whose experience alone gives us courage and inspires us to heal our own emotional wounds.

This is definitely a must read for anyone who is interested in personal and spiritual growth. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and therapy abuse, I was relieved to have read that healing is possible. This book has truly changed my life and how I look at myself.
