An interesting view into the women on the home front

The number of women who tell their stories in this book is fantastic, it allows for women who worked in all kinds of fields during the war to tell their stories. Though the title makes it sound like the women were all riveters or working in plane factories that is decidedly untrue. The book has stories of women who welded ships, women who worked at weather stations, and more. They all have something to add and provide a great understanding of what they went through during the war.
