For those that want to know what the U.S. Coast Guard does for a living, day in, day out, a must read about a spectacular rescue of its own in Attu, Alaska! This account of the CG C-130- #1600 crash in the utmost dangerous weather and terrain will put you there of " what a rescue mission is like" in the most challenging environment. Knowing some of the people on the flight, having completed two tours at CGAS Kodiak, this book is hard to put down. Author did a fantastic job capturing, "in the seat, on the mission and the challenges that go into a rescue" in some of the most dangerous rescue mission in the world! Bravo Zulo
