First of all it's a fair book

Fairness is not very modern, but how refreshing. Finaly a book that takes a fair look at the President, the writher judges what he sees, not what is modern or smart to say when you are a singer or an actor on the far left. A very recomented book !

The man who brought respectability back to the Presidency

Say what you will about George W. Bush, but before you pass judgement on him, read A Matter of Character and see why George W. Bush is the man who brought respectability back to the Presidency of the United States and why he is the most qualified to help America to continue to grow after the Clinton Recession and why Bush will be around for FOUR MORE YEARS!

The real George W. Bush is STANDING TALL!

Having been trashed to death with all of the ridiculous Bush-bashing books that came out earlier this year, what a refreshing change it is to read a book that is actually based on facts, not opinion. A book that is well researched and a book that tells the truth about a great man and a great President. A Matter of Character is must reading for all Americans, especially those seeking the truth about our President, not just opinion, if not flat out lies like in the anti-Bush books. The world of politics seems to be getting uglier and uglier. In 2000, we had Al Gores "win at any cost" agenda. Now we have some new opponents to President Bush who feel that "if we can't find any dirt on the guy, let's create some." Whatever happened to who is the best man for the job? Or arguing policies? After reading A Matter of Character, you will realize that George W. Bush is standing tall indeed despite all the rhetoric and unfounded bullcrap. A Matter of Character is a book that you must read.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!

Fantastic book. After the liberal left has done nothing but churn out one book after another, lambasting President Bush, it's about time we got another viewpoint and yes, an independent viewpoint. Kessler's book shows the human side of Bush. Liberals are SO very quick to point out his foibles, his mis-pronunciation of words, his use of slang, his Texas heritage and run him into the ground because of that. Being President means doing things that are sometimes unpopular. The President's job is NOT to make the rest of the world love us. We've been cow-towing to terrorists too long. Bush has made choices that have been very difficult. He's been President during the most difficult era since WWII. Ronald Kessler's inside, authoritative account of how George W. Bush has applied principled leadership to the tough task of defeating terrorism and preserving freedom should be read by everyone who cares about our national security. A Wonderful Book.

Portait of a real leader

George W. Bush is undoubtably a modern day Ronald Reagan. He is a true leader. He brought back the stock market from the CLinton Bear MARKET YEARS. He created the strongest economy in over 20 years. Like Reagan, Bush knows something that the democrats don't....how to stimulate the economy, spur growth and without raising taxes. He also knows something about living a great family life and what the words "for better or for worse untill death do us part." GWB brought back respectability to the presidency. He brought the economy back and he brought the stock market market back. He has made America a safer place and unlike his opponent, he does not participate in gutter trash talk or hire hollywood "stars" to try to sway the American public with bs. Great book about a great man.
