There is a man in the rural town of Jonesburg, burned from head to toe. He is seldom seen among the residents but when two of the local pastors are murdered back to back, the mysterious "burned man" becomes the primary suspect. Pastor Evan Givens and his wife arrive into town, inheriting the church and home from the murdered preacher. While doing some rummaging around the church, Givens finds a box of letters which detail the strange goings on...
