This story takes place in Washington DC. At that time DC was called the murder capital of the world. It was February 1990, and conservatives impacted the city unlike any before them. There in a small section in Northeast, four friends will embark on a forty-eight hour period that will impact them for the rest of their lives. The main character Damion also known as D by everyone. Is a high schooler who is trying to navigate his way through life highs and disappointments with his brand of humor. With love on the horizon and bound to his friends and family he is just trying to find the easiest road to take. However like most young people he think he knows best, especially when it comes to himself and the dark secrets he harbors. How does one go from one end of the spectrum with happiness, joy and love to the total opposite end of the spectrum in the same day. When you're young you think you can conquer the world. The four of them had such dreams of a better tomorrow. However, sometimes nightmares can take hold of those dreams and destroy you from within.
