Great practical wedding gift!

I've given this as wedding gifts for several friends and relatives. It is so practical and explains in everyday terms this great definition of love from the Bible which is often read in their weddings. "love is patient, kind, never jealous, rejoices in the truth, doesn't take into account a wrong suffered... love hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails"... The author's illustrations are humorous and applicable to every day life. I'll keep giving it.

Extremely practical!

What a practical and relavant treatment of the subject of real Biblical love. Mr. Burke has made I Corinthians 13 come alive and very understandable for everyday living. I hope he continues to write more books on other passages of Scripture.

This book on love is a real, usable, understandable treatment of what love is and how to pull it off in the real world. It is based on the greatest passage on love ever written, I Corinthians 13 from the Bible. The book is fun to read and full of great illustrations, stories and practical tips on learning to love friends, family, those easy to love and those challenging people in your life. Highly recommend it!

Life-changing for all our relationships!

I just read this new book on I Corinthians 13 and I feel that the author has made this passage come alive. I've never read a more relevant or practical work on the topic of Love! If anyone were to read this and take it to heart and love others according to the author's insights, it could be life-changing, not only for their marriage but all their relationships! I plan to give this book to couples I know who are getting married this summer!
