Amy Lillard Takes Us Back To Pontotoc Mississippi In Her New Book A Love For Leah------- Book 2 Amis
Published by Patricia Bond , 6 years ago
Amy Lillard, once again, gives her readers a heartwarming story of Leah Gingerich, twin sister of Hannnah Gingerich from her book A Home for Hannah.
Unlike the rest of Leah's family, who are of the Amish faith, she is a member of the Mennonite church. Leah is independent, outspoken, owns her own business and is also hard headed.
Jamie Stoltzfus, has just moved to Pontotoc with his young nephew Peter, after a devastating tragedy. Jamie is also lives next door to the Gingerich's farm and the family has taken him "under his wings' and has help him and Peter out.
The only member of the Gingerich famiy that Jamie is having a hard time with is Leah. It seem that the both of them are always "butting heads" over issues. The more time Leah and Jamie interact with each other the more attraction there is between the two. The biggest issue between the two of them is the fact that Leah is Mennonite and has no desire to go back to being Amish and Jamie the Amish faith.
You will love reading Leah's story. Amy reconnect's us with some of the characters from A Home for Hannah. A Love for Leah has some twists and turns, struggle with religious beliefs, a heartwarming love story. You won't want to miss reading this awesome book. A if by chance you have not read A Home for Hannah, the first book in Amish of Pontotoc series go pick up a copy to read and you will love it just as much as Leah's story.
This is my true honest opinion of A Love for Leah. I was provided with a copy by the author
