Love affair with the game

It's a life that only a few of us could dream of. Stanford grad, Navy vet, Rhodes Scholar, Stanford law school graduate and then an amazing career in law and golf. Became head of the USGA and has been instrumental in the development of golf and architecture since the last 1960's. Fantastic.

A must for anyone who loves golf

His book is a fascinating collection of short essays and thoughts about his remarkable life in golf. It is funny, perceptive, and engaging. And there is a short but splendid introduction by Sandy's close friend, Tom Watson. I recommend it to anyone who has ever picked up a club or just enjoyed watching others play.
