Very Hot and Great Book!

This book had been recommended to me because the Author based it off a musician we kinda know. I won't mention his name out of respect to him, but any girl who has ever had a crush on a rockstar and it follow her into her adult life, can relate to this fantasy! It is a great read, no one know had a easy time putting it down. Here it has not had a bad review in this household where it has been read by three people! I have already purchased and sent copies out to two other girls. Great Book, Great Writer! She belongs working for bigger book companies where she would get better notice!

Music for my Soul

This is one fantastic read from beginning to end. Every girl who has ever crushed on a musician will not only relate to the character of Hannah (I was able to see myself in her), they'll be able to appreciate her growth and the obstacles to overcome. And Nate - wow. He's every rock star that's ever existed. So well written, he could be any number of crushes that have existed in the history of rock and roll. When these two characters come together, the intensity and heat between them jumps right off the pages. But it's not just sexual. There's an internal chemistry, a true understanding between them that transcends the physical. The background research is extensive and really delves into what life on the road is like for musicians. While I would classify this as erotica, I would recommend it to those who aren't into the genre. An awesome story, and a must read (and must own).

For every rock fan who has ever had a crush!!

I totally loved this book!! I got it from a friend, and usually don't read erotica, but I loved every single page! As a girl who has had my fair share of crushes on rock stars from the time I was 11, through my present age 39, this was my fantasy come true. The characters were complex, and the author made us really care about them. The story was just pure fun, but had me turning pages to find out what happened next. I recommend it very highly!

Hot Fun!

I thought this book was fun! Besides HOT romance scenes, there was a lot of detail on what life is like for a rock star, which made it fun to read. Anyone who has ever fantasized about being with a rock star (and let's face it, haven't we all LOL?) will thoroughly enjoy that part of the book. The writing is crisp, clever, and inviting. The characters aren't cardboard or one-dimensional and you really end up caring about them. I actually read this through twice when I first got it, that's how much I enjoyed it!

4 1/2 Stars for This One

I had this one in my TBR pile for a while. I've really enjoyed Cheek's contemporaries and this book kept that streak going. Hannah kisses her idol, rock star Nate when she's a clumsy 17 year old but after she runs off in horror, she vows she'll bed him one day. So lo and behold, nine years later she's a bigshot PR specialst handling celebrities who need a comeback and Nate has gone from the heights of success to rock bottom and is trying to make his way back. Of course they have great chemistry from go and an intense physical relationship starts on the sly but the media can't be far behind and Hannah feels she'll have to choose between her job and the man she's come to love. I think Dale (who also writes under a few other names in several genres, all quite ably) takes a cliche and gives it life in this story. This isn't a young girl's crush and an old has been - in Hannah and Nate, we've got two interesting and complicated people who have to really figure out who they are and what is truly important. The sex is very well done (Dale also writes erotica with another pen name) and I came away really entertained. This is a truly well written erotic romance. I highly recommend it!
