A House of Pomegranates is a in 1891 published collection of fairy tales written by Oscar Wilde. The stories are about love, youthful beauty, compassion and suffering. Classic treasure This description may be from another edition of this product.
Oscar Wilde was famous for a couple of things, but we will focus on his literary works. He had a couple of extremely well received plays ("The Importance of Being Ernest") as well as the famous book "The Picture of Dorian Grey". This extremely slim book is a compilation of a few fairy tales that Oscar decided to re-write with different endings or changed the plot or location, etc. It is a mixed bag with some rather embarrassing missteps and one or two stories that I would consider just OK. By slim I mean the book clocks out at 78 pages total and the print is VERY, VERY small. Be forewarned.
