Great for a Hamtaro fans and Postcard Enthusiasts alike

I send postcards all over the world, so I like having a variety of cards to send people. I'm especially happy when I can find comic and cartoon postcards as they're popular with people of all ages but can be difficult to find. I was happy to find so many postcards in one book at a more-than-reasonable price. The images on these postcards come from Ritsuko Kawai's (the creator of Hamtaro) original illustrations. They are very cute, brightly coloured, and you can really see the detail in the drawings. They depict the characters in all sorts of costumes and situations, as well as just lounging around. The postcards themselves are on good quality cardstock and have a nice layout on the back as well as the front. Be warned, the postcards are oversized, meaning they will need the same postage as a first-class letter instead of the lower postcard rate. But... they're so cute, you'll probably want to keep them for yourself. :)

Delightful Stories With a Little Bit of Education

This book contains some of the adventures of Hamtaro, a pet hamster, told from the point of view of the hamster himself. Hamtaro has a childlike curiousity that allows him to learn about the world around him, even though it sometimes gets him in trouble. As a bonus, readers also get hamster care tips and/or facts at the end of most of the stories.

This is a cute picture book about a hamster named Hamtaro. He is a birthday present for a girl named Yukari. He learns about humans and about being a pet in a series of short stories. The pictures are adorable and the stories are fun. Hamtaro narrates the stories himself. There is also a little bit of information about real hamsters after every story. This is a good book for little kids and anyone who likes the Hamtaro TV show.
