Sixteen-year-old Nelly Mwanza is a double orphan living in Zambia, Africa. She has been living in My Father's House Orphan Homes, a ministry of Every Orphan's Hope, since 2005 with her twin brother, Emmanuel. My Father's House is a community of homes that house eight children, four girls and four boys, and a widow whom they call "mama." Nelly wrote this devotional at a time when her mother, Josephine, was the house mama in her home. Josephine passed away in November 2014. In Nelly's first book, A Heart of Perseverance, she motivates and encourages young Christians to stand firm in their faith and trust that God has a purpose for everything. She touches on obedience and choosing right from wrong, as well as respect, humility and balance. Nelly also challenges young Christians to be prayerful and not give up on their dreams.Join Nelly on a journey through Scripture and prayer as God reveals His purpose in your life. May you draw closer to Him with A Heart of Perseverance. To learn more about Every Orphan's Hope, visit everyorphan.org.
