A Hard-Hearted Man by Melanie Craft released on May 25, 1998 is available now for purchase. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I had my doubts that the wife of Larry Ellison (see book: The Difference Between God and Larry Ellison) could write romance but this book was a very pleasant surprise -- easy read -- read it in one day and loved it. I just purchased another book by Melanie and I hope she continues to write romance novels -- she is truly gifted.
A great read!

This book is FUN! I picked it up off my friend's shelf, because she said it was one of her favorites. I was a little suspicious at first (a romance novel set in Africa?), but once I started, I couldn't put it down! Lilah is such an amazing character...smart, sassy, multi-dimensional...you'll love her. And Ross is...well, let's just say, you may have met him before! I highly recommend this book...can't wait for the next one!

My mom reads lots of romances and just cleaned out her storage room (SCARY!) and gave me a bunch of old books. This one is good summer reading!!! I really liked it, except that the hero needed more of a sense of humor. But he turned out to be nice in the end. It was exciting becaue it was set in Kenya, and I thought Lilah was someone who I would like if I met her. Recommended!!!
THe best book I've read this year!!!!

My sister lent this one to me with a stack of others and because of the cover I read it LAST. But once I started it I literally could not put it down. Give it a try. I cant wait for more!

This was one of the best books I've ever read. The characters are compelling and above all, REAL. The plot pulls you in from page one and doesn?t let go. Craft depicts her characters with a vivacity and concreteness that is unsurpassed in this genre. Clearly she is no hack. I foresee a great future for this promising new author.
